Secret Service agent got what he deserved, says Sarah Palin
Washington, Apr 21 (ANI): Sarah Palin fired the Secret Service bodyguard after he revealed on his Facebook page that he was "really checking her out."
The 48-year-old said that the agent got what he deserved this week.
"Well, check this out bodyguard - you're fired!" the Politico quoted Palin as saying on Thursday night on Fox News.
The former Governor of Alaska said that the Secret Service scandal is "a symptom of government run amok."
David Randall Chaney - one of the Secret Service employees who was ousted this week in the wake of the Colombia prostitution scandal - had posted several photos of himself on Facebook, showing him protecting the former Republican vice presidential candidate, The Washington Post reported.
In a comment under one of the pictures, Chaney wrote: "I was really checking her out, if you know what i mean?"
"I hope his wife sends him to the doghouse. As long as he's not eating the dog, along with his former boss," Palin said.
"Greta, you know a lot of people will just say this is boys being boys, and boys will be boys, but they shouldn't be in positions of authority. And yeah, I think it's pretty embarrassing," she said.
Palin called for President Barack Obama to "start cracking down on these agencies" and to see "some heads roll."
"It's like, who's minding the store around here?" Palin said.
"The president, for one, he better be wary, there, of when Secret Service is accompanying his family on vacation. They may be checking out the first lady instead of guarding her."
And all of the scandals currently riling the administration, Palin said, point to the president's poor management skills and reinforce the need to vote him out of office in November.
"Whether it comes to a budget, to GSA overspends, to the Secret Service scandal, you know, I have had enough of these men being dogs and not b! eing res ponsible," she added. (ANI)
