Levi Johnston: Oops! We forgot the birth control pills on vacation

Playgirl centerfold and former Wasilla mayoral candidate Levi Johnston spoke out about his most recent publicity stunt the pregnancy of his latest girlfriend.Johnston, who already has one child with former Alaska Governor Sarah Palins daughter Bristol, sat down with The Insiderto talk about his latest conception:
There was a time we went to the cabin and forgot the birth control pills and, you know, about a month later we found out we were having a baby, Johnston said. Yep, that will certainly do the trick.
Johnstons girlfriend, Sunny Ogelsby, said that the media give her man a bum rap. Im tired of people thinking that my boyfriends a bad father, especially now that Im having his baby, she said. I dont want people thinking that about him.
Johnston said that he doesnt feel like a dad to his son with Bristol, because he doesnt see him very often.I love Tripp more than anything and he is my son, but I dont feel like a dad to him. Not by choice. Hopefully one day I can be, he said.
According to the Palins, Johnston owes Bristol nearly $39,000 in child support. The family has publicly feuded with him, and he has talked about the Palins negatively to the press.
In 2009, Johnston said that while Palin was governor,! she kne w that he and Bristol were having sex in their home. He also said that Palin resigned as governor due to marital issues. The Palins vehemently denied all claims made by Johnston.
The host asked if Sarah Palin was purposefully keeping Johnstons son away from him.
I think shes, you know, she plays a big role on Bristol, he replied. You know, Bristol looks up to her and thats a family and, you know, I listen to my family. So Im sure she does have some part of it, yeah.
But the Palin camp has a different take on the story.
Mr. Johnston has never exercised his agreed visitation, a Palin family attorney told The Insider ina statement. The record demonstrates that this lack of visitation is largely voluntary and not due to interference by Bristol or her parents.
If Mr. Johnston would like to exercise visitation, or perhaps pay child support, he knows Bristols number and should contact her directly. While it may not get Mr. Johnston the publicity he seeks, such direct communication between the parents is the preferred way of resolving these types of disputes.
