NEW YORK, April 2 (UPI) -- NBC says former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate, will serve as guest co-host of the "Today" show this week.

"She'll reveal a different side of her than you've seen before," a message on the morning program's Web site said about Palin, who will help out on Tuesday's edition of "Today."

Palin was Sen. John McCain's running mate in the presidential election.

Also set to appear on "Today" this week are reality TV personalities Giuliana and Bill Rancic, Tori Spelling and Kim Kardashian, "Octomom" Nadya Suleman, the Duggar family from "19 Kids and Counting," and singer Nicki Minaj, who will perform live.
