Sarah Palin to attend Florida GOP dinner

Former vice presidential candidate and Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will attend the Republican Party of Florida fundraising "Victory Dinner" in Orlando next month, the party announced Thursday.

"Having a Republican leader of Gov. Palin's stature and importance is yet again proof of the crucial role Florida will play as the year unfolds," said RPOF Chairman Lenny Curry.

The dinner, the party's signature fundraiser of the year, is Nov. 3 at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort.
