Sarah Palin Asks for RO Extension Against Stalkers
Sarah Palin has asked an Alaska judge to extend the restraining order against Shawn and Craig Christy into 2012. The father and son from Pennsylvania were arrested and jailed for threatening to kill the former Alaska governor, and her family. The Christys are still guests of the state, awaiting a trial date.
The current restraining order barring the two from having any contact with Palin or any member of her family is due to expire in November, and it is expected that the judge will rule sometime in the next few weeks, reports Hollywood Gossip.
Sarah Palin is a lightning rod. She attracts attention wherever she goes, and rare is the person who holds a so-so opinion of her. Such extremes always bring out the worst in supporters or detractors, but the unwritten law of leaving the families out of the fight has fallen by the wayside. Bad enough that one should live in fear of lunatics threatening to kill them, but that fear being extended to their loved ones must be unbearable.
Sarah Palin should be awarded the restraining order, but, unfortunately, it would seem that a piece of paper will mean little to the father and son, should they be released. Perhaps, should a release be granted, these two should be strongly reminded by the judge of two words...Momma Grizzly.
