Sarah Palin announces fitness and well-being book
Former US vice presidential nominee and television host Sarah Palin has announced that she and her family are publishing a new book on fitness and well-being.
"Our family is writing a book on fitness and self-discipline focusing on where we get our energy and balance as we still eat our beloved homemade comfort foods!" Palin told People magazine in a story published Tuesday.
The 48-year-old isn't new to the fitness scene. She was featured in Runner's World magazine and has been a serious runner for more than 35 years. Huffington Post writes that she finished the 2008 Anchorage marathon in 3:59, which is two minutes under current VP nominee Paul Ryan's 4:01 finishing time when he was 20 years old.
No word yet if Palin and her family have a contract for the upcoming book or when it will be published.
