Bristols apparent distaste for Game Change didnt affect the publics reaction, as the movie took home five Emmy awards last month, according to HBO.com. The most notable might have been the win for Best Miniseries, beating out the critically lauded Hatfields and McCoys.

Moores depiction of the polarizing former governor of Alaska was receiving praise before the film even debuted in March of 2012. It was hardly flattering portrait of Sarah Palin, who was portrayed as clueless and entitled throughout much of the 2008 campaign with Republican presidential candidate John McCain. Both real-life politicians said they would not watch the movie, a pledge that evidently didnt include their family members as McCains daughter Meghan also criticized the movie.

While TV drama is nothing new to Bristol earlier this year her son Tripp, who is a toddler, was filmed uttering a gay slur on a reality show focusing on the Palins the trouble that stems from her controversial views seems to be. TMZ reported that earlier this week a suspicious package arrived at the CBS lot demanding Bristol be removed from Dancing With The Stars.

The package contained a mysterious white powder and had a note attached to it that read, This is what will happen to you if Bristol Palin stays on [the show]. The white powder, which some feared was anthrax, was later deemed harmless but TMZ reported that law enforcement was still ! investigating the threat. Bristol was the subject of similar threats during her first stint on the reality show in 2010.

Although its upset many fans, Palin has remained on the newest season of Dancing With The Stars, despite receiving low scores from judges of late. She and her dancing partner Mark Ballas have survived in the competition of B-list celebrities while Pamela Anderson and professional dancer
