VAN BUREN: Sarah Palin to headline upcoming tea party event

Sarah Palin is bound for Belleville. The tea party favorite and one-time candidate for vice president is the guest speaker at Saturday's Patriots in the Park event at the Wayne County Fairgrounds, 10871 Quirk Road, Belleville. The July 14 rally runs noon to 6 p.m.

The Willow Run Tea Party Caucus website describes the event as featuring "great speakers and entertainment for the whole family as we meet friends to talk about many of the issues facing our nation. With socialized health care, high gas prices, record debt, high unemployment, and a host of other issues, we've really got our work cut out for us."
