Sarah Palin unfazed by HBO film 'Game Change'
Sarah Palin says she's not worried about "Game Change," next month's HBO movie in which Julianne Moore plays the former Alaska governor during her 2008 failed vice presidential bid.
"Goodness gracious. I'm really not concerned about an HBO movie based on a false narrative when there are so many other things to be concerned about," Palin said on "Fox News Sunday." "I'm sorry that millions of people are going to waste their time."
Moore, in an interview for the spring issue of Capitol File (out Feb. 22), said she spent about two months in "total (Palin) immersion" before shooting the film.
"The trickiest thing is to take all these physical and vocal characteristics and somehow filter the character's essence through them," she said. "And then you personally have to meet them somewhere, too."
"Game Change," set to premiere March 10, is based on the book by John Heilemann of New York Magazine and Mark Halperin of Time magazine. Fox host Chris Wallace asked Palin Sunday whether there was any truth to the "Game Change" story that she was in a funk during the 2008 campaign.
"I was never in a funk," Palin said. "Thank God I have the right perspective on what really matters in life, and there is no reason to be in a funk when you know what right priorities are and what really matters."

The French film that pays homage to Hollywood classics won best picture, its star Jean Dujardin was named best lead male actor, and its filmmaker, Michel Hazanavicius, won prizes for directing and his original screenplay, according to the Associated Press.
