Sarah Palin Look-Alike Fends off Moon Nazis in New Iron Sky Trailer

Creepy Nazi spaceships hurtle through the new trailer for sci-fi comedy Iron Sky, which intertwines shots of futuristic Third Reich moon-dwellers with campy performances from a Sarah Palin-esque president.

The U.S. leader, played by New Zealand actress Stephanie Paul, seems seriously outmatched by the invasion of Hitler devotees whove been plotting revenge from the dark side of the moon for the past 70 years.

The theatrical trailer, released Tuesday, hypes the Finnish flicks world premiere this weekend at the Berlin International Film Festival. It is simply mind-blowing that we get to have the world premiere of Iron Sky in Berlin, of all places! director Timo Vuorensola said in a statement. I hope the movies antifascist message will resound with audiences.

Partially microfinanced by fans who made donations through the films website, the $10 million Iron Sky will make its North American premiere during the South by Southwest film festival next month in Austin, Texas. The film opens April 4 in Finland followed by a wider release.
