Limbaugh Slams Golden Globes For Giving Game Change Cast Platform To Bash Sarah Palin
On his radio show this afternoon, Rush Limbaugh slammed last nights Golden Globes for giving awards to HBOs cartoon version of Sarah Palins 2008 VP run and thus allowing its cast and crew to have a platform with which to repeatedly bash the former Alaskan governor.
This show [Game Change] won three Golden Globes last night, and you know why? Limbaugh asked. So that everyone involved could walk up to the stage and once again bash Sarah Palin, knowing full well there wouldnt be anyone there to defend her. Knowing full well there isnt going to be anyone today to defend her.
He continued: Once the left targets anybody for destruction, theres no standing in their way. So this is the procedure, this is how it happens.
Limbaugh also went after Golden Globes co-host and former SNL cast member Tina Fey, lamenting what he sees as her inclusion on Barbara Walters 2008 Most Fascinating solely for her famous Palin impersonation, while the actual female politician was left off.
The radio host also posited that very few conservatives have defended Palin from Hollywood attacks because of the movements inner competition and lack of unity that allows itself to be tarred and feathered.
