Bristol Palin obtains temporary restraining order against 'stalker'

New York, Jan. 4 (ANI): Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin's daughter Bristol has obtained a restraining order against a Texas man, who is allegedly stalking her and has even offered a ring and a wedding proposal.

According to court documents, the 22-year-old reality star obtained a temporary restraining against the 39-year-old Texan Michael Cummings, who she claims she's never met, and only came into contact with after he sent her an engagement ring, along with a note saying, "I (heart) you," TMZ.com reported.

Bristol alleged that Cummings was later spotted at her mom Sarah's house on her son Tripp's 4th birthday on December 27, at which point she immediately filed for protection.

Bristol is hoping to make the order more permanent at a hearing later this month. (ANI)
