Sarah Palin speaking at Vegas conference
Former vice presidential hopeful Sarah Palin is scheduled to be the headline speaker Friday in a Las Vegas conference geared toward conservative bloggers.
The RightOnline Conference will host the former Alaska governor at the conference, which is scheduled through Saturday.
Her appearance comes more than a week removed from President Barack Obama's campaign stomp at the campus of University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Event organizers, Americans for Prosperity Foundation, haled Palin for her use of social media.
"Few others have demonstrated Palin's prowess at breaking the rules of the Old Guard Media,'" Foundation President Tim Phillips said.
The conservative organization said it champions "citizen-leaders committed to advancing every individual's right to economic freedom and opportunity."
The group boasts more than 1.9 million members nationwide.
