An independent group is running radio advertisements in Iowa urging voters to go rogue and cast their votes for Sarah Palin at the states caucuses, despite the former Alaska governors insistence that she is not running for president.

The group, calling itself Sarah Palins Iowa Earthquake, released the 30-second spot less than a week out from the Iowa caucuses, the first official nominating event in the 2012 campaign. The ad says it is not authorized by Palin or any other candidate.

Are you unhappy with the current GOP field? Let me tell you something, you are not alone, the ad says. Join thousands of Iowans as we vote rogue. Its the caucus for Sarah Palin on January 3. Let Iowa and the entire country know we want real leadership and real reform in D.C. So come on Iowa, vote rogue on January 3!

A similar group calling itself Sarah Palins Earthquake Movement is planning to run TV ads in Iowa markets through Jan. 1, according to its Facebook page.

Palin said in October she would not be seeking the presidency in 2012, though she fueled speculation earlier this month when she said it wasnt too late for folks to jump into the GOP race.

This isnt the first effort to try to draft Palin into the 2012 race: A separate group called Conservatives4Palin announced plans last month to run a TV ad campaign urging Palin to reconsider making a presidential bid.
