Executive Vice President Bill Shine told The Associated Press that the network "thoroughly enjoyed our association" with Palin, who came aboard in January 2010. Palin uttered 189,221words over 150 appearances on various FNC telecasts during her now-expired contract; word broke out late last week the cable network would not renew its pact with the former GOP vice presidential candidate. That averages out to about $15.85 per word, according to the report issued by the universitys Humphrey School of Public Affairs the morning after Julianne Moore won the Screen Actors Guild Award for portraying Palin in the HBO teleflick Game Change.
