Sarah Palin touts 2014 readiness in 'Loaded for Bear' SarahPAC ad
Sarah Palin brings the "Mama Grizzly" metaphor back in a new ad from her political action committee.
Fresh off the success of her well-received CPAC speech earlier this month, Sarah Palin's political action committee, SarahPAC, has released a new ad extolling the former governor's virtues as an advocate for conservative candidates in 2014.
The two-and-a-half minute ad, released Wednesday and titled "Loaded for Bear," intersperses clips of Palin's speech with media clips praising her ability to galvanize support for Republican candidates and energize the party base.
"She is a superstar," one news anchor says.
The ad ends with a reminder that 35 Senate races and 36 gubernatorial races are up for grabs in 2014. A bear stands up and roars against the backdrop of a night sky, as the words "We haven't yet begun to fight!" flash across the screen. Palin often referred to herself as a "Mama Grizzly" during the 2008 presidential elections.
SarahPAC treasurer Tim Crawford asked supporters to share the new video in a note posted to Palin's Facebook page on Wednesday.
"The 2014 elections are just twenty months away," he said. "We appreciate your support; together we have elected many great commonsense conservatives over the past four years. Together, we will keep fighting to support these ! bold candidates."
