Julianne Moore has compassion for Sarah Palin.

She told T magazine: I think whatever you do, you have to have a real amount of compassion for your character as a human being. She was in a completely untenable situation. She had an incredible natural charisma [and a] crazy innate confidence.

Julianne also stars in the remake of 'Carrie', as Margaret White, the abusive, mentally ill, fanatically religious mother of Carrie White (Chloe Moretz) and enjoyed working on the controversial movie.

Speaking about her character, she said: The only family she has is this child, so when she starts to move away from her and into the world its incredibly threatening. All she ever does is warn Carrie about the outside world Theyre going to laugh at you, theyre going to hurt you, cause thats been her experience. The horrible thing is shes right!
