Sarah Palin family drama: Levi Johnson names daughter Breeze Beretta after gun

Levi Johnson, the father of Sarah Palin's grandson, plans to name his new daughter after a gun.

Jonson, 21, will call his second child Breeze Beretta Johnson. Her middle name is inspired by the Italian firearms manufacturer Beretta.

He and his new girlfriend, Sunny Oglesby, are expecting after Sunny forgot to bring her birth control during a weekend escape to a hunting cabin.

The Alaska native already has one son, Tripp, with Bristol Palin, the oldest daughter of the former governor and Republican vice-presidential candidate.

Bristol, 21, claims Johnson is a deadbeat dad who owes $38,000 in child support and shows little interest in seeing his three-year-old son.

In an interview with Inside Edition set to air Wednesday, Johnson says his relationship with Oglesby, who is going to school to be a teacher, will be different from how things ended with Bristol.

'I'! m actual ly in love... not doing it just because we had a kid together,' the Huffington Post reported.

His new daughter will share a middle name with the oldest firearms maker in the world. Beretta has a reputation for making a wide variety of high-end shotguns and rifles in Italy.

However, in the United States the gun manufacturer is best known for its model 92 9mm semi-automatic pistol. That weapon, known as the M9, is the standard-issue sidearm for the US military -- with millions carried by servicemen around the world.

Beretta handguns are also popular among police officers and sport shooters. They cost about $500 to $750, depending on the exact model.

Johnson is an avid hunter, who has bagged caribou, elk and bears in the wilds of Alaska.

It was on one of those hunting trips that Breeze Beretta was conceived -- by accident.

'We were out at the cabin for like, four days, and forgot the birth control,' he told Inside Edition.

Johnson, who was engaged to Bristol Palin during the 2008 presidential election, has publicly feuded with the first family since he split with Bristol in 2009.
